First prize in Bendigo

Woohoo!! My White Rabbit and I won the first prize in the Woolcraft Section of Australian Wool and Sheep show that was held last weekend! My Tassie Devil came second in his category. The categories were Hand Felted Article and Handcrafted article using innovative and creative techniques. It has been a last minute decision to put my works into the competition, so I had to choose from what I already had even though I had different ideas about what I could have made. Providing it was my first time participating in this event, I have missed a few details such a descriptions of a technique used in Tassie Devil, which cost me a few points, but we still came second, so I treat it as a huge success :) I have learnt a lot from this experience and next time (yes, there will be next time too) I will aim to step up with my work and hopefully produce something very exciting. I will have to wait till the announcement of the theme for the next year, but I have to say I do have some interesting ideas already, so can't wait to start working on bringing them to life.

A small update on my YouTube adventures. I have been very busy but also lazy with making videos for my channel, I am still very much keen on making it work, so hopefully will be able to film a few interesting videos to share with people. Some tools, materials, tricks and tips on the art of felt making, always happy to share how I do it, so those who are just starting the felting journey or maybe interested in seeing others doing it will find this interesting.
